Namrata is a technical project leader with 20 years of experience with fraud analytics.
Namrata is a principal research scientist focused on Medicare and Medicaid payment policy, data quality improvement, health care workforce studies, and cost modeling of new Medicare benefits, using cost benefit analysis and return on investment of medical interventions, public health research and evaluation.
At NORC, Namrata has played key roles on projects for the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) that assessed the impact of drug shortages on cancer care, support the Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee make recommendations for optimizing health care delivery and value-based transformation, and estimated the impact of transitional care management on rehospitalization for Medicare population. For the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), she plays a key role for implementation of Emergency Triage, Treat, and Transport (ET3) model.
Before joining NORC, Namrata worked at Booz Allen and Hamilton, where she was the data analytics lead and project manager for Advanced Provider Screening, Center for Program Integrity at CMS. She also worked for The Lewin Group where she was the technical lead for a number of projects for federal clients and provider associations including the Heath Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), ASPE, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), CMS, and the American Hospital Association.
