Rachel T. Kurtzman

Rachel is a research scientist in the Health Sciences Department. She is a mixed methods researcher with experience in qualitative research, analysis of large datasets, Delphi panels, survey design, program implementation, program monitoring and evaluation, and clinical research.
At NORC, Rachel supports projects funded by a variety of clients. She currently supports the Maryland Statewide Prevention and Reduction Collaborative (SPARC) antibiotic stewardship efforts and oversees NORC’s support for the Measurement and Outcomes Workgroup within the Clinical Decision Support Innovation Collaborative (CDSiC). She additionally has supported several Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) funded projects.
Before NORC, Rachel worked in various clinical settings as a research associate on therapeutic and non-therapeutic studies. Most recently, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Family Medicine at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
