Renée oversees the operations and management of NORC’s International Programs department. She has more than 25 years of experience managing and providing technical assistance and operations support on domestic and international development projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), U.S. Department of State, the World Bank, foundations, donor countries, and other funders.
Renée served as the Program Manager for USAID’s Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance Learning, Evaluation and Research (DRG-LER) activities, an 8-year, $49 million contract providing services to advance learning activities in the DRG foreign assistance sector, as well as critical data on the impact of democracy and governance activities to assist with decision making. In addition to being responsible for overall program management (budgeting and cost control of taskings, contract progress reporting, subcontractor procurement and consent, international travel approvals, and other administrative reporting), she led several nation-wide and national government surveys in Honduras, Kenya, and Liberia related to electoral participation, countering trafficking in persons (CTIP), and evaluation of access to government services.
