Katie Archambeau

As a senior data scientist at NORC, Katie has been involved in many roles on a wide variety of projects. As a member of the Methodology & Quantitative Social Sciences department, she frequently collaborates with many other departments on research activities varying from frame construction and sample design through data delivery. Along every stage of the survey life cycle, Katie is committed to quality and is frequently called upon to provide quality control to ensure that projects are completed to the highest of standards.
Katie has contributed to the Survey of Consumer Finances over the past four project iterations, initially assisting with sampling activities, but over time increasing her involvement so that, in the current round, she is responsible for all data delivery activities and is the lead for adaptive survey design innovations for the project. In her involvement with the Surveys of Women, Katie set up reports to track weekly survey progress and monitor any concerning changes in data collection. She also leads data delivery activities for this suite of projects. On the Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey, Katie has adapted the process for matching and geocoding current Medicare beneficiaries through four major changes in the past year, all the while maintaining the highest quality product and ensuring on-time delivery of this process.
